Appetizer Meatballs

Cut: Ground Pork

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean ground pork
  • 1 cup ice water
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Barbecue-Cranberry Sauce

  • 1 cup barbecue sauce Kansas City-style or ketchup and molasses based
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce or cranberry jelly
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar or maple syrup

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 375°F
  • Mix pork, water, soy sauce, and pepper thoroughly in large bowl
  • Shape into 3/4-inch balls (mixture will be soft)
  • Arrange in single layer on ungreased shallow baking pan
  • Bake 20-30 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F
  • Serve immediately or cool and freeze for later use.
