Grilled sausage and pesto pasta is a simple yet flavor-packed dish perfect for any night of the week. Preheat the grill to 400°F or medium-high heat. Clean and oil the cooking grate, then close the lid.
Place Italian sausage links on the grill, turning to cook and brown evenly, about 10–12 minutes. Pork sausage is fully cooked when the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
Remove from the grill and slice the links into rounds.
In a large bowl, toss the cooked pasta and pesto to coat evenly.
Add sausage rounds along with diced red pepper and cheese. Garnish with chopped fresh basil, then serve.
